We’ve got a new driver release for you, assassins! The latest Radeon Software Crimson 16.11.3 brings optimizations for Dishonored 2 – Bethesda’s newest game.
If you’re exploring the mysterious islands of Dishonored 2 as Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, you will be glad to hear that there’s a dedicated driver release to ensure you’ll have best possible experience on SAPPHIRE Radeon graphics cards. This release also fixes an issue with AMD X-Connect Technology.
Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.11.3 Highlights
- Steam™ and Origin™ will no longer terminate when using AMD X-Connect Technology on unplug.
This marks yet another driver release over the last two weeks, with special optimizations for hotly anticipated games of the Fall season. Engineers over at AMD Radeon Technologies Group have been hard at work to bring you Day 1 support not only for Dishonored 2, but also Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered or Titanfall 2 . There have also been improvements to the Shader Cache technology, enlarging the cache’s size.
Here are the highlights of the two other recent driver releases that you might’ve missed (all of these optimizations are of course featured in the 16.11.3 as well):
Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.11.2 Highlights
- Improved Shader Cache storage limit. This will allow the Shader Cache feature to store more shaders for extremely demanding games that may have previously hit the old storage cap.
Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.11.1 Highlights
- Call of Duty™: Infinite Warfare
- Call of Duty™: Modern Warfare Remastered
