We’re proud to announce the AMD SAPPHIRE DOTA PIT Minor 2019 – an epic week-long tournament organized by The One Game Agency. 8 teams will clash for their share of 300,000 USD and a chance to qualify for this year’s The International in Shanghai.
The SAPPHIRE-sponsored event will be held at the Spaladium Arena In Split, Croatia from April 22 to April 28. It’s part of the official Dota Pro Circuit competitive season and will play host to the most skilled Dota 2 teams on the planet.
The eight competing teams will be chosen in closed qualifiers (April 3rd – April 6th) then split into 2 groups, playing best-of-three games in a round-robin format. In a later stage, the teams will enter a double elimination bracket for the chance to be part of the best-of-five game grand finals.
Apart from 500 DPC points that can help the teams qualify for other official DOTA 2 tournaments (and in the end, this year’s The International in Shanghai), there’s also a 300,000 USD prize pool to be divided between all 8 teams!
