The wait is over – SAPPHIRE Technology is launching a pair of new graphics cards from the PULSE Gaming Series! The SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 5700 and SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 5700 XT are both great for 1440p gaming, featuring advanced custom cooling, unique design, and all the features that make the PULSE family an excellent choice for everyone who expects top-tier performance at a good price.
The future is PULSE
SAPPHIRE’s new PULSE graphics cards bring out the best of AMD's RDNA gaming architecture. The PULSE RX 5700 model features a GPU with 2304 Stream Processors and up to 1750 MHz Boost Clock, while the PULSE RX 5700 XT has 2560 Stream Processors and can reach a Boost Clock of up to 1925 MHz. Both models come equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory and are up to 9% faster than the AMD Radeon RX 5700 Series cards.
Similar to previous SAPPHIRE cards, the PULSE RX 5700 Series has a built-in Dual Bios switch that allows you to change from the default Boost Mode to a Silent Mode.
We recently managed to send out our brand new SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 5700 GPU to our good friend David "Zaccubus" Treacy, who was kind enough to give us a detailed overview of the performance along with some of the awesome features that you get with SAPPHIRE PULSE branded models.
New feature: TriXX Boost
With the SAPPHIRE PULSE RX 5700 series, we are introducing a brand-new TriXX Boost feature as part of the SAPPHIRE TriXX Software! It’s a smart solution that gives users even more control over the quality vs. performance trade-off.
TriXX Boost creates additional custom rendering resolutions in the games you play (4K, 1440p and 1080p). You can then scale the resolutions between 70% and 100%, and RADEON Image Sharpening will enhance the image quality in DirectX12, DirectX9 and Vulcan-supported games. The effect is higher FPS with no significant decrease in image quality.

SAPPHIRE DNA are the core parts of our GPUs that represent their quality, robustness and reliability. All-aluminium backplate keeps your card free of dust and helps with heat dissipation, built-in fuse protection ensures the components are safe, and our 12-layer PCB delivers stable and reliable performance. Additionally, two-ball bearing fans we use have an 85% longer lifespan than sleeve bearings, are up to 10% quieter than the previous generation, and our Quick Connect technology allows the fans to be easily cleaned or replaced.
COOLTECH
SAPPHIRE CoolTech are all the high-quality cooling systems that are meant to keep your card’s components – including memory and VRM – in optimal temperature. Two massive Dual-X 95mm fans allow for greater airflow and are intelligently controlled to balance fan noise and performance.
PLUS
SAPPHIRE Plus are all the extra things that make our GPUs special! This includes our unique fan and power design, VR-support thanks to Dual HDMI ports, and all the features in the SAPPHIRE TriXX Software, including Fan Check, Software BIOS Switch, ARGB LED effects and the brand-new TriXX Boost we’ve mentioned above!
